Santé publique France released English version of InfoCovidFrance, its dashboard for monitoring the COVID-19 epidemic, providing clear and easy access to all the indicators it produces.
Surveillance of the COVID-19 epidemic relies on a large network of partners and numerous indicators. The fact that most indicators are available as open data reflects a firm commitment to transparency and information-sharing with all members of the public. The objective? To give people a clear understanding of how the COVID-19 epidemic is evolving, the prevention measures in place and the actions led by Santé publique France in response to the health crisis.
Now available in French and English, this dashboard presents daily indicators for monitoring the COVID-19 epidemic, grouped into 13 categories: key numbers, incidence/screening, consultations, hospital, Long-term care facilities, deaths, variants, contact tracing, vaccination, vaccination logistics, healthcare reservists (crisis workforce), adherence to prevention measures and regional-level data.
Its content evolve as new indicators are developed.
Each section features precise indicators for different age groups and variable periods, illustrated by interactive maps and graphs. With clear descriptions and scalable views (whole country, region, department), InfoCovidFrance offers detailed, up-to-date information about the impact of COVID-19 on the population and the healthcare system, as well as the response to the health crisis.
The dashboard offers several levels of reading: quick access to key figures, data-visualisation in the form of maps and dynamic graphs, displays by date or region, and descriptions for each indicator. It completes the other sources of information released or produced by Santé publique France.
InfoCovidFrance is updated every evening at 7.15pm. Depending on the indicators, updates can concern daily, weekly or monthly indicators.
Users can ask questions about the tool or the indicators presented via the contact form.
Also available in English: the COVID-19 Weekly report
Every Friday, the national epidemiological updates analyse data from partner networks and present weekly indicators. This weekly report provide a perspective on the situation and compare weekly trends.
